#50 #Scriptors100BestFilms #JabWeMet

Its as simple as that, you find love when you follow your heart. This masterpiece by #ImtiazAli changes many thing how i see this world. Life is not how you deal with it. It’s more how you take it. Its not a exam to pass, its a breeze to feel. “Funda thoda jyada ho gaya naa?” But this movie is a perfect amalgamation of philosophy and entertainment without each of them over taking the other.

Aimless Aditya (#ShahidKapoor) met narcissist Geet (#KareenaKapoor) in a train. Eventually they land up in a roller-coaster journey that helped Aditya to find what actually he is seeking for. Like we heard popularly that, lovers become more like each other when they fall in love. Aditya found himself more like Geet and that attitude gives him perspective to solve everything in his life. But here comes effect of Imtiaz’s most favorite poet #Rumi. Aditya love was selfless. He do not have Geet in her life but he has her love with him. Later when Geet faces the consequences of the decision she made for herself, Aditya helped her to become that Geet again who follows her heart. They both find their true love as they followed their heart.

This movie was not only heart warming and learning experience but also complete entertainer and trend setter. After #Sholay, #JabWeMet is the movie who’s dialogues was become a craze among indian cinema lovers especially young girls. Every second girl want to be like “Geet”. Undoubtedly “Geet” becomes one of the most loved characters of Indian films and Kareena will always be known for her performances. Both Kareena and Imtiaz (Best Dialogues) won Filmfare awards but in my humble opinion Shahid was the backbone of the film. Geet’s character was reflected on the reactions played by Shahid as Aaditya.

#JabWeMet  can easily be considered as one of the best love stories in modern indian cinema, more than that one of the most loved love story.
