Chandini’s quench for Amit’s love led gets her into an extramarital affair with him. In one of the scenes with Shobha, Amit’s wife (Jaya Bachchan) she mentions that I’m not taking it away from him from you, we were in love. Destiny drifted us apart and now bring us closer. There is nothing on purpose. This portrayed that how sometimes love can be so strong that while knowing that you are wrong you continue.
